We’ve been giving our discourse on the benefits of tea for the past couple of articles and have stayed away from making any specific recommendations, however, that doesn’t mean that we don’t have an opinion. After all of these articles if you’re curious what our favorite brand and go to website is, it’s Republic of Tea. This recommendation is not based on any form of compensation of any sort, it is our purely personal recommendation. Generally speaking, and again, in our opinion, most tea companies infuse their various brews with flavors that are a little too strong, we are not sure if this is an American thing, where we like our taste buds to be almost beaten to death with flavor, or if we happen to not grasp the subtleties. While The Republic Of Tea does have a whole range of flavors with very colorful labels that definitely overdo it on the infused flavors, their white teas are actually very light, with gentle hints of whatever flavor they’re blending in. They also rotate their teas, which is good and bad, good in the sense that every year or so you get a new batch of teas coming in, bad in the sense that when you find one you really love, it may be gone the following year, case in point: one of our favorite flavors was Pineapple Guava White Tea, which has now gone extinct on their website and can’t be found anywhere else online, but they replaced it with a Cucumber and Mint, so that’s pretty amazing.
Taste is of course very subjective, take our opinion however you like.
